Euron is most likely trying to summon a kraken by torturing all of those priests and wizards into believing he is more powerful than gods, lashing them all to the prows of his ships and attacking the largest city in Westeros while vastly outnumbered. He wants to seize the entire city, especially the Citadel and the Hightower. With all of the foreshadowing and visions/dreams from priests pointing at Euron being some god-slayer who destroys the world, I can see Oldtown having its own Valyrian Doom somehow in the books, but not in the show.
Marwyn will ally with Daenarys as he's the only person with potentially more magical knowledge/power than Euron other than perhaps Bran, Bloodraven, and Quaithe.

She tries to escape the waif by going in the water or retrieving something from the water. Major moments will be in episode 8.
