That's not satisfying or done well. What would have been satisfying is if there was actual build up to his dead. Roose was written out of the story because there wasn't time for him, so he was killed by Ramsay. There's only enough room for one main villian in the north and more show watchers care about Ramsay because he's been given more screen time and he's more outwardly a prick.
