Anyone seen Near Dark? Bill Paxton = based.
Why has he had such a mellow career?

No one has seen Near Dark man

why

Great movie.
He was typecast for a long time. Frailty is super underrated in my opinion.
He reached a plateau in search of more serious roles. Also Twister probably pigeonholed him. Sucks because his early stuff is great.

Too bad. He was great as the anarchic badboy. Its actually a role you don't see done well to often. I'm not super familiar with his career, did he just do it too many times?

he directed? nice
Near Dark is probably the best Vampire film ever. I love how it portrays Vampires in it as properly monstrous. The only bad bit is the crappy happy ending they shoe horned into it.

ever seen this? Kinda interesting take on vampires/blood/aids/drugs
>>70393393
He just got older and took roles in movies like Twister and Titanic. I think he became more family oriented in his personal life too. But, other anon is right, Frailty is an absolute mindfuck from his later period, and I mean this in the best way possible.

Sign my ass up.

I agree but the ending is ok. I like happy endings

i did once
i liked it

I'm fine with happy endings as well. But the wholecuring the main guy and his Vampire love interest of Vampirism by giving them a blood transfusionbit just felt dumb.

if you thought that was dumb you should see Daybreakers
