So essentially we have Ice and Fire. Starks and Lannisters hate each other at the beginning of the series but eventually team up and become a "song" and live in "harmony". This is evidenced by the fact that we already have four characters (Jon, Tryrion, Tommen, and Bran) who are all good friends in both the show and real life. Tommen is also king and when he hears that Bran is in trouble he'll help Bran out and Tyrion will bring the dragons to help Jon also.

This was probably his plan. He was going to be Tommen's Hand and teach him how to rule as king. I could see Tywin giving the Rock to Kevan so he could stay in King's Landing and rule as Hand until Tommen was ready. This way he'd have a trusted ally running Casterly Rock, not someone who was going to fuck him over.
Tywin would have made Tommen into a good ruler, too. Calculating, cold, biased towards the Lannisters probably, but he would have taught Tommen diplomacy, warfare, commerce, political strategy.
If I were Dany, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, I would import the finest and most exquisite pair of black bulls from the Summer Islands.

I think this is going to be a major plot point in the story. Aerys was hated, but Rhaegar was universally loved. It'll tie in to wether he kidnapped Lyanna, or if she went willingly.
Pretty sure that's why, during the ToJ flashback, they emphasized Bran's reaction to the realization that Ned lied about defeating Arthur Dayne in fair combat. If he lied about that, what else has lied about?
