So that's what he's doing after Mythbusters
I've seen about half of it and while I think that Chris Evans was a bit annoying (particuarly all of the unnecessary and unconvincing emoting, like WOOOOOing when Ramsey's and the other guy's derby cars went through the off-road water/mud puddles, or the fake-shouting AAAAAA at some point at the beginning), as well as the obvious scriptedness of the challenges (particuarly the very convenient camera placement for the paparazzi and missile targeting segments), it wasn't horrible.
I actually laughed when Chris Evans said that the guy got under two minutes, then said he was only kidding after the guy got his hopes up. Joey actually didn't feel out-of-place.
I think that people are justifiably upset over the casting change, but I feel that there's potential here for it not to be shit. It has a lot of room to improve, but who knows.
