Someone answer this for me:
We saw in the last ep that the NK's touch of Bran in his dream allowed them to get past the CoTF's magic. Presumably, this magic also protects the Wall.
Therefore, it's logical to assume that when Bran passes through the Wall and into Westeros, it will take away the magic and allow the WW's in.
This theory is all well and good, except for one flaw which I think most are overlooking...
If this is the case, why did Bran travel North? Why would humans have to fear the WW's anyways? If the magic is truly protecting the wall, as long as the mark doesn't get South then there isn't a need to worry. Therefore, this makes Bran's whole quest to defeat the WW's self-defeating.
Had he done nothing, then humanity need not have feared the WW's and lived safely behind the wall.

I'd say it's EXTREMELY complicated. As someone who has played a lot of games from different genres over twenty years, it's definitely the most complicated game I've played after Dwarf Fortress. I haven't played a lot of grand strategy, but compared to Civilization, to pick a popular strategy game, it's a LOT more involved.
Battles are extremely simplistic, but the game isn't focused on that, it's everything else. You have a limitless amount of different actions to take. It's easy to get stuck on things like who to pick as your spymaster. There's hundreds of characters each with different stats, traits, and opinions on other characters. In the beginning you don't really know when to pause the game, and when you've made enough decisions to unpause and let time progress.

Can we discuss the biology and culture of the Others?
So, an Other can be born from two ways (that we know of), these include being turned into one through Old Children magic and it involves Obsidian, and the other way involves using Winter magic and touching flesh with their fingers, similar to how vampires, zombies and werewolves can spread the disease by biting. Does it only take one touch though? Or was the Baby Transformation a special kind of touch, one that needed those icy pillars in the land of always winter? Perhaps the "touch" needs a ritual to do it. Maybe it only works on children.
Can they breed? Do they have genitals? We know of one female Other in the story, the rest we see are men. Though, that could easily be explained in that soldiers in armies are often always men anyway, and so are Kings. There could be plenty of female Others in their Land of Always Winter, at their homes. Which makes me wonder- do they have a culture? They're able to craft advanced armor, weapons made of magical ice, they seem to have a language (in the books), they practice necromancy, is that an instinctual skill or is it learned, do they have schools of magic? If all the female Others are at home, is Other culture patriarchal?
Can they bleed? We've only ever seen them shatter through obsidian weapons, we've never seen them simply wound. Do they have bodily organs? What are their eyes made of? Do they have bones? Are they entirely made of magic ice or does ice magic PRESERVE their flesh and organs which gives them longevity? (They seem to be ancient after all).
If they can't breed it makes sense why they need Craster's babbies.
How big are the Lands of Always Winter? If it's not much land or overpopulated it makes sense why they're marching south to gain territory through lebensraum- but if they can't breed, how would they be overpopulated?
Also, what's their deal with Ice Spiders? Where do they come from?

personally i think the others can in fact turn adults in to others just like they can turn babies into them. i don't think it has anything to do with how old someone is, i think it has something to do with the person's blood. kings blood is this recurring thing in the books and show, it's powerful and characters like mel need it to use magic - it makes sense that the others would need kings blood to create others too. to me this makes more sense than the whole baby/adult thing.

I think there are women of the Others, if they were to have a culture as a people. Because there's still two ways of looking at them, as a People of themselves in the far north, or as just WMDs that went haywire like Skynet. the cotf get pissed off at some point a few thousand years down the line and create the others to retake their territory. the long night happens, the cotf realized they fucked up by creating the others at some point, so they help the humans by putting a magical barrier on the wall to prevent the others from crossing it.
