That's about how I rate them too, except I think I rate MoS just a touch higher. It's become my favorite comic-book film. I have real high hopes for the director's cut of BvS as well.

His style is dark and edgy. I think with watchmen he had characters that where all products of the same environments. He tried to draw the same parallel in BvS and failed. The whole Batman's parents vs poor old orphan Superman was too weak to make the characters human. They are not human they are a Sociopath and a Humanoid Alien being. Rather use light vs dark all that shit than some emo mommy and daddy is ded RIP sob shit.

I made this a few days back.
I think Watchmen is incredible because the comic is incredible, everything Zack Snyder changes makes it worse though because he's a manchild. 300 is a pretty good adaptation as well, but his own stories are utter trash. I count MoS as an original story because its not like any Superman comic specifically despite what he says. He is such an idiot, all you have to do is listen to him talk for more than a minute to realize this. He can make some cool imagery but its just there to look cool, he literally does things with the express purpose that they look cool and seeks to justify it later.
