I still think Neil Blomkamp is the best guy for a Halo movie. Shame he didn't want to stick to the source material for the attempted 2006 movie.
Still, if he could be willing to sacrifice some creative control, he'd make a nearly flawless Halo movie. I think Halo: Landfall is the perfect example of that.
