It makes sense
Statistically, Indy has better accuracy with a firearm. It could be 100%, but I'm not sure. Han shoots more often, but his shots have been seen to miss their targets on occasion. That being said, statistics are dumb because they don't account for essential combat basics like suppressing fire, warning shots, etc
