It didn't matter what a potential storyline or cast or setting s3 might have had. It wasn't topping s1. Pizzaman had worked on it for over a decade. HBO got a great up and coming filmmaker to realise the vision and put it on screen, coupled with two powerhouse actors with a chemistry together that can't be bottled or defined.
