This looks like a more faithful TOS movie than any previous Trek movie and that includes the TOS movies.
It was an away mission instead of the Enterprise crashing I'd think it was an episode remake.
After that terrible first trailer, and the backlash it got from fans, they must have rethought their entire marketing campaign. The new trailer and posters and all great.
