Mexicans did it again!
>>69968919
is this what true kino looks like?
lol
its like Mexico has only three voice actors
For real the ones that do cartoon voices also do drama tv shows
>>69968919
Hodor's name better be Dejalado in the spanish version or this scene loses all meaning in the translation.
jesus, wonder how they do this in Spain
>>69968919
MAXIMUM KEK
>>69969539
You can't possibly predict what retarded name twist there's going to be, so nope.
>>69968919
the real question is why is the dub for young hodor a 40 year old.
>>69968919

Exactly why dubs are fucking stupid, for the most part. Wordplays and shit become a nightmare.
>>69970057
It's book translation in this case and GoT is for plebs worldwide.
>>69968919
why does a teenager sound like a 50 year old man
>>69970057
Exactly. They should made GoT in spanish in the first place because that language is the most widely spoken language in the world after chinese.

George rr Martin was probably writing this thinking "I am so clever. This is literally the best twist ever. Hold door changes to Hodor. Genius. Absolute genius. This level of depth is the reason I'm a fat bearded slob. I just don't have the time to work out. Genius".

Kek
In Russian it's zatvori khod which makes little sense since its a very weird way of saying hold the door. It should have been derzhi dvyer. Zatvori khod can be roughly translated as shut the way.
They had to do this so Hodor would make sense.
Zatvori khod - khod zatvori - khodtvor - hodor.
The most amusing thing is that if grrm finished his book and the meaning of Hodor would have known from the beginning, his name would have probably been translated as Devyer, so derzhi dvyer - hold the door would have make sense

I can picture Brian Singer the same way when he so "cleverly" rebooted the franchise with DOFP.
>>69970350
That's a very weird pull

>>69970924
It's a conspiracy
>"He had some kind of seizure and kept yelling about holding some door until it become uninteligible 'hodor' or something. Freaky stuff."
>>69968919
They could make it work in Swedish where it would be "håll dörren", but we don't dub english movies or shows here unless it's animated and/or for kids.
