Because it would've been pointless. Also this version of the character is called Kilgrave not Purple Man. The MCU Thor looks more like the Ultimate version of Thor.

I remember when people used to shit on Nolan for making character more grounded in reality. Now that Marvel Studios is doing it, it seems to be ok. Kinda funny that the company that makes the comics can't even get their characters right.
