It was a good scene. Considering how Bran and Hodor's relationship is when Bran first learns how to warg, it was well done.
HOWEVER, I think what is making everyone act out/get angry/get nervous, is that now there is an implication. There is an implication that Bran can see things happen in the past, and he can also do things to complete the time loop. If this implication is true, then pretty much there is going to be no drama in the show anymore.
Literally every time someone had voices in their head, or saw someone in some fire, there is an implication that Bran did it to make the current timeline congruent. If this is what happens, then all the hours, emotions, and whatever else anyone invested in GoT and ASOIAF are pretty much worthless.

Well, time travel tends to convolute plots, and in this case it was introduced pretty late which makes it seem random. There was foreshadowing for it though so people are just blowing it out of proportion, plus there have been future-seers for a while yet.
The big problem is that since it seems confirmed now (unless Hodor was just a greenseer), then it can lead to endless Frodo posts, plus there could be more plotlines that are easily solved by time travel now.
