Because it's silly. It's the god tier of silly comedy. These days, "humor" stems from sex jokes and violence. These guys were creative and didn't give a fuck.

Flying Circus is great. It never did the same thing twice and is so creative. Sure it has its share of dry humor, but they were very good at making fun of anybody and everybody.
