I really like the work of the Coen bros.
The Assassination of Jesse James by The Coward Robert Ford is a really good movie.
Memento is great.
I think Mulholland Drive is great, but not 10/10 worthy.
The Revenant is a masterpiece too in my eyes.
Finally, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is an underrated piece of art. It's an extremely well made film.

The plot is good enough to make you interested in the characters and relate emotionally to them and that's all it matters

The story is nothing special I agree. But I do not mind that. Blade Runner just feels like a very complete film to me. We know the world, we know the characters, we know civilization and we will remember it's style.
I also think there is some sort of story hidden beneath the actual story: a search for identity. The more times you watch it the more things you'll notice. Really good film imo
