We thought cutting 30 minutes and decreasing the age of entry would result in more screenings per day and a larger audience among teenagers. Not only did we compromise the quality of our film, we discredited the visionary legacy of Zack Snyder and didn't break a billion

Reminder that Snyder knew all along that couldn't possibly be the theatrical cut and the shorter cut is entirely his fault as well
Also that extended cuts do not count when talking about the quality of a film

Not nessesarily, avengers almost got an R rating for some MPAA bullshit and they had no idea, probably same for this unless it's multiple f bombs
I wouldn't doubt WB overruled Snyder and put more JL stuff there because they didn't trust him fully, not that that's not understandable
