Like every other thing she does involves lesbian sex...i wish i was her...

>>69623503

Sarah Shahi has played a lesbian on a fairly explicit show before, so it's probably not her first time doing a scene like that.
>>
>>69623610

Doesn't mean she's doing it well.
>>
>>69623655

>>
>>69623700
Bad sex scenes reminds you that the actors are just doing it for the paycheck. That's not sexy. It kills the fantasy.

If this is a simulation. How many times has Shaw been through this? How many times has she slept with Root? Has she slept with John? Reese? Bear?

inb4 the twist is Shaw has broken and is the final episode villain, they aired this episode out of order, the twist was suppose to happen first and this is how it happened

I know. It's really depressing how much of a hit the writing has taken. But at least it's still enjoyable. Just sucks it had to go out this way.

It was better when it was Batman without the costumes with some sci-fi elements. When it went to only sci-fi and dropped the mafia and dirty cop parts, that's when the show started to fall apart.

>>
>>69624460

I disagree, I really love the sci-fi aspects and the more serialized plot. That being said, it's about run its course. I'm sad to see it go, but it had a legitimately good run and this is a good time to end it.
>>
>>69624577
In the beginning I would agree with you. But now, they are just spinning their wheels. This is getting boring.
>>
>>69624460
Please crime procedurals are a dime a dozen, Samaritan made this show worthwhile
>>
>>69624619
I agree with you there. There is only such they can do going this way. It can never go back to a POI case a week like in the first two seasons.
>>
>>69624638
This. The sci-fi elements turned what could have been a CSI/NCIS/etc. clone with a lazy "magic computer" plot device into a unique, smart, fun show.
>>
>>69624635
I kind of agree. I'm just saying, it's obvious the behind-the-scenes shenanigans hurt the show just as it was entering it's prime.

Actually, in a way you're right. The moment the writers tried to step out of the box of a standard procedural, that's when it's number came up.
>>
>>69624991
>The moment the writers tried to step out of the box of a standard procedural, that's when it's number came up.

Exactly. CBS wanted a by-the-book procedural, but the writers had other ideas. So it got no promotion from the network (and still had pretty good ratings anyway, which is why they tolerated it for a couple more seasons). I'm fine with how it worked out, though. I'd rather have four and a half seasons of excellent television than nine seasons and two spinoffs (PoI: Des Moines!) of another dull procedural.

Yes, Elias and the dirty cops were the best part because they had personalities and interesting motives. Samaritan is just another boring villain. The only twist is that he is a machine. It was interesting twist two seasons ago but now? Meh.

the reason why PS3s were used was cause the OS changed in PS4, closed-OSes in PS4
>>
>>69627630
The linux partition was removed from PS3s years ago. Linux was only a part of the PS2 and PS3 because it allowed Sony to pay less import taxes because it could be classed as a computer.

I'm guessing they took it out when an exploit was found or a law was changed or something.
>>
>>69622867

"It was all a simulation" fucking copout bullshit, pissed me off so much. Also was Root and Shaw always so lesbian-leaning? I know Shaw seemed to like Root for some reason, and Root's old background story she had that friend from childhood that was a big motive for what she does, but the lesbian scene just seemed forced.

Underwhelming episode. But in general I've felt this show has been going downhill since Collier turned out to just be a secret Decima tool and got killed off, he was an interesting antagonist (respectable motives and sympathetic but still somewhat unlikeable).

>>69629213
>>Breaking news: actors get paid to play pretend!

>>
>>69629251
Shaw was doing most of the work, did you people really didn't get this?
That was Root was the center of the simulation and why it was what Shaw always went to avoid Samaritan simulation and why she always choose to kill herself.
We pretty much got full cyberpunk in this ep, this was an AI indoctrinating a human with cybermagic programs and failing.
>>
>>69629424
So >>69623966 was right. Samaritan really is a shipper, at least as a means to an end.

Still, I can see why people wouldn't get it at first. Shaw and Root's "relationship" has always been pretty one-sided until she got captured, so to see her entertain romantic thoughts of any kind, even forced onto her, is rather offputting.
>>
>>69629783
As i understood it, Samaritan didn't force anything but the scenario, the only thing it wants is the location of the machine, the rest was Shaw trying not to tell it were it was.
The episode actually serves as a way to see inside Shaw's head about her feelings for the group and about Root, we knew what Root feels for her because the show has showed this, now we know what Shaw feels in her own way.
That was great writing, people were expecting pretty much what happened in the simulation to be for real without taking into account that it would feel rushed because Shaw is pretty much autistic.
Also it wasn't really one-sided, they pretty much throwed a perfect guy for Shaw and she turned him down for Root and several other instances were Root was the central factor for Shaw, sometimes this show is way too subtle, which its actually refreshing.

>>69630063
