It took me a while to get into them, and I thought it was just "good", but something clicked for me at some point in season 3 and I caught up to season 7 at fucking light speed. I vehemently disagree, except for the bit about Twilight Zone, great show. In my personal opinion there's more freedom when writing a science fiction / fantasy show because you aren't limited by mundane reality. You can also approach topics from more abstract angles that would come off as heavy-handed or on-the-nose in a "realistic" drama.
Also, just personal preference, but I have more respect for shows that balance multiple genres instead of just sticking to one particular theme/style like Breaking Bad or The Sopranos (sans dream episodes)

Man Men is definitely one of the greatest shows ever, but why do people think crime dramas are the best? Hardly any of you plebs have watched or would even give a show like Friday Night Lights a chance. It's easily one of the best shows ever made from beginning to end. No other show will give you feels like it will, and no other show is written so authentically to where the characters seem to live and breathe.
