I've never seen /tv/ talk about The Newsroom.
Just finished it, great series.I didn't even know Olivia Munn could act.
What do you guys think about it?

He's not though, he's a Sorkin avatar who every so often says "I'm a Republican" so the show can claim to be bipartisan, but without actually holding a single political view in line with their ideology.

Was looking forward to it immensely.
Aside from a few standout moments here and there I thought it was the worst thing I've seen Sorkin ever put out. I couldn't even bring myself to finish the first season.

I actually loved it. Everything besides w/e her names red haired phase I liked. The last two episode still hit me right in the feels.
The show does this thing where it's really funny and then serious, but it does it so randomly it's hard not to think it's a comedy.
