Just got back from the drive in. I've been avoiding Civil War threads until I got to watch it, but from the catalog it seemed that people thought spiderman stole the show when it was clearly ant/giantman that did.

Giantman was entertaining for maybe the first 15 seconds. All he did was flail his arms and yet it was enough to send Team Tony into complete disarray. What the fuck was Vision doing the entire fight? All I remember was him burning a line with his beam before the big brawl, slamming Giantman once, and toppling the airport control tower. Oh and cripple War Machine I guess.
He could have easily taken out everyone at the scene including Emily Olsen, who was being a real shit butting into other people's fights with LOLREDMAGIC that's supposedly infallible.

He tried to grab them, kick them, put them off balance and distract them. The whole point was to get them to have to worry about him so that Cap and Bucky could get to the Quinjet.

He was cool and had some good jokes but he felt really half-assed in how he was introduced. Never a reason for him to be there, just shows up and here's Ant-Man. Civil War made it pretty clear who's getting a new movie and who's not.

The movie had reallly great action all throughout. I haven't heard anyone else mention it, but that scene when Cap and Bucky fought all those counter terrorist guys on the staircase was awesome. Also, where are there still drive ins? Thought those were all gone

It was a pretty average cape shit movie and I don't know why /tv/ is flipping it's shit over it. He was the only one that actually made me chuckle, but it wasn't much of a show to steal to begin with.

You seem to be ignoring the fact that Visions whole arc in the film and in the airport scene in particular is that the more humanity he's gained over time has also made him more fallible, both in emotion, decision making, and outlook (you know like a real human)

I'm near Dayton, Ohio. There are a few within 20 minutes of me. I normally just go to the same one because it has two screens so if you don't like one of the movies showing you can switch halfway through. It's really great during the summer when each screen is showing 3 movies so you can watch 3 for the price of one plus being able to bring in your own food and beverages no questions asked.
Can't wait for Buckycap so I can get a whole movie of these two yucking it up.
