I didn't used to skip them, but as the shows quality waned as did my tolerance for the opening credits.
Scrubs is probably the only other show I never skipped credits on, because they had the right idea in making them so short.

I rarely skip opening credits but I literally never skip these opening credits. Same goes for superman returns, Tim Burton's Batman, and Sam Raimi's spiderman movies. There's just something about a visually interesting and drawn out opening credits sequence accompanied by an excellent opening theme. Batman, Superman, and Spiderman have GOAT opening credits sequences.
