My choice would be It Follows. That fucking piece of shit was hyped up to hell and back everywhere and when I finally sat down to watch it, I was more than disappointed. It's not scary, the characters suck, it couldn't be any more boring visually... I honestly can't believe how much praise that movie has gotten, it's fucking garbage.

You're going to get crucified for saying John Wick, but for what it's worth I agree with you. The whole movie felt like it was written by a 16 year old boy, and the action sequences weren't good enough to carry the rest of the movie.
