I haven't actually seen it, but what's it like?

In all the commercials and promos, they keep saying, "We are doing the classic dry Airplane! and Naked Gun humor!" but it looks like awful delivery. Like their consciously trying to show everyone how much they loved Airplane.

I watched the season 1 marathon when it premiered. It's so much better in large chunks than it is in small. I found it comfy as fuck though there are some cringeworthy moments.
