Before iron became the standard there wasn't too much smithing as we know it now. It was mainly casting bronze weapons and then simply filing them/adding a handle.
Honestly though since his stuff seems to be extremely primitive (which is interesting enough on its own) I don't think he'll go that advanced. If he does, I'll be a little bit disappointed. I think sticking around the "stone age" is more interesting unless you have more people to help do the different roles that would need specialization.

shockingly good writing and effects for a youtube slenderman series, this episode blew my mind especially considering it takes place during an actual live stream. the acting is really fucking rough in the beginning and i find it pretty difficult to sit through a lot of older videos, but the payoff in the later ones is well worth it.
