Why is yifi so looked down upon ?

>Slightly grainy
There's nothing wrong with grainy movies, specially if they are old, but YIFY movies are not "grainy" they are fucking pixelated blurred mess. For example you can search for "TGTBaTU" italian restore, that is on torrents , it is around 4.75GB, and search of a YIFY version that is around 4.5GB, they are quite similar, but the Italian version looks grainy, but with a nice framerate, and clear/sharp, you can see wrinkles in the faces, small details in the fabric of clothes, etc..... The YIFY one, looks like if actors were made of playdoh, it looks clear, but it is blurred, and during fast scenes you can see pixelation.
There is literally nothing wrong with YIFY just like there is nothing wrong with VLC

They compress 7.1 DTS audio into a 96kps mp3 file it souns atrocious.
And their video quality is also very poor, specially in movies with dark scenes with small lightning or actions scenes the whole movie becomes a pixelated.
For some reason millions seed YIFY releases while better quality public tracker releases like AMIABLE or Sparks are lucky to have a dozen each release, millions are wasting bandwidth that could be used to share much netter releases.

There's nothing wrong with VLC (Although there are better media players out there).
But it is light, simple and doesn't need extra codec packs. Basically if you are a noob or some casual/normie who can't go into computing, that's the best option unless you want to fuck up your computer.
If you are into tech stuff of course there are better ones, that you can tweak and change and customized in every way possible, but either they are too complicated for normalfags, or they are to heavy/use too much ram, etc.....

i use vlc because im not a fucking nerd

I downloaded a YIFY movie yesterday and I literally could not hear what the actors were saying even with max volume, so I guess that's why

I used to use VLC. Then I tried playing a 10GB file with 7.1 DTS and it went full retard. Switched to MPC-HC + madVR and couldn't believe how much better the quality was.

I'm not that guy, but I downloaded YIFY Cap America 2, and I needed to go almost full volume to hear the dialogues (I usually need 20% or 30% of volume in movies). Try it, the torrent is out there.
