Gotta be honest with you lads, seeing some of the characters speaking Spanish really makes me want to start learning it. Especially Hugo. I know he has Chilean parents and all, but it's still pretty cool. But then I start doing some stuff and all I can think is that this is the language or garbage collectors, gardeners, and illegal immigrants.
I already speak German, so ain't no monolingual pleb, but still. I dunno. Anyone else had a similar experience with Spanish? Please respond.

What changes would you make lads?
I really disliked how the others turned from being almost supernatural beings to just ordinary people. If they could have kept some mystery about them and been ambiguous with what they could and couldn't physically do it would have been much more entertaining (for me). I would have liked to have seen more of Mr. Eko, but his situation was unavoidable, so there isn't much you can do. Less Kate-centric episodes too. Less Claire, less crazy Charlie, less Shannon and Boone, less WAAAAAALLLLLT, more Vincent actually being God moments, less stuff actually being explained and more being left as a mystery for viewers to discuss and theorise over.

Kill the time travel in season 5, and no Nikki and Paulo. More Eko, maybe do the flash-sideways ending different so that people don't go 'Hur durr they were dead the whole time.' It was a sweet way to wrap up the series, showing everyone happy in purgatory, but their was this recurring theme that everyone kind of got what they wanted just before they died anyways (Boone had just overcome wanting to fuck his sister, Shannon finally got someone to believe her, Charlie had cemented his relationship with Claire ect ect.) No need to show a purgatory giving them a second happy ending, diminishes their first ending.

Id have cut the Jacob centric episode, and instead made the entire episode about MIB trying to leave the island and helping the humans building the wheel, and it should have ended with him getting knocked out by his mother and then turning into the smoke monster and killing everyone.
I really didnt like how much that episode showed from jacobs perspective, and he was already "humanized" enough at the point ,while MIB could have used more character, and to emphasise that all he wanted to do was get off the island.

my only real issue with the show is how much time they spent on the flash sideways. The payoff was beautiful, but I think it would have been just as effective if they cut them in half.
There's quite a few of episodes that feel way too slow in S6 because of it, which is really offputting considering its the final season.

Am I the only one who thinks that nothing on TV has quite matched up to LOST? I mean that in the sense of having one television show that everyone watches that everyone can theorize and give their opinion on. Breaking Bad was a little like that, but the show was very straightforward, contained no mystery, and the ending was predictable. Game of Thrones is popular, and while the show is diverging from the books, I don't really hear any "theories" or any such thing from my friends who watch it.
Do you guys want to have that feeling again? Being able to watch and discuss this show on a weekly basis? What if /tv/ had a "LOST Night" once a week? In fact, why DOESN'T /tv/ have something like that already?

Got is argubly on same level with lost, there are tons of theories as to what will happen in the future and just like lost from about the 4th season onwards the quality of the series has steadily dropped

Pleb. GoT was never nearly as good as Lost and it never sparked the same level of discussion either. Maybe in terms of amounts, yes, but Lost was far more entertaining to discuss
