WHERE'S MY FUCKING MONEY DENNY?
last month I read The Disaster Artist, it makes this film so much better to enjoy.
>>69110834
Peter is best character
>>69110996
i don't understand how people can enjoy this movie, it's awful.
YOU'RE NOT MY FUCKING MOTHER
>>69111507
Are you autistic?
>>69111534
no? i imagine most critics agree with me, it's terrible and not entertaining. i guess /tv/ are just contrarians as usual...
>>69110996
I'm not sure if my favourite part was about the spoons, the set building/takedown, his refusal to change his clothes, or him filming the ending scenes.
>>69111612
>this opinion
someone throw some fucking spoons at this anon
>>69111693
"this opinion" is held by most people anon. you are the one whom spoons must be thrown at.
>>69111507
>hating fun this badly
tsk tsk
i'm going to watch it for the 100th time in your honor
>>69111781
>this
>fun
>>69111612
>i guess /tv/ are just contrarians as usual...
Do you honestly think this is a /tv/ thing?
Are you aware that it's been a cult hit for so long that international screenings occur to this day?
If you're genuinely unaware of this, kindly read up on global rule two, then see yourself out.
>>69110834
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1In78YppuA
what did tommy mean by this?
>>69111956
it's a cult hit for being awful, not enjoyable. most critics (all critics) hate it, and it is a waste of time.
>>69112006
Honestly sounds like it was redubbed via a text to speech device
>>69112038
>it's a cult hit for being awful, not enjoyable
Yes, all those people rewatch it live and at home because they truly look forward to a couple hours of torment.
Surely it couldn't be that people can appreciate something failing so miserably that it loops back round into being funny?
Sadly, my psychic powers are nothing compared to your evident prowess, so i can't make a clear judgement call.
YOU'RE TEARING ME APART LISA
>>69112111
my judgment is that those people are morons that choose to waste their time with awful films. same reason csi have countless seasons.
>>69112184
Why is that the most famous line anyway? "I did not hit her!" "In a few minutes bitch." are way funnier.
>>69112435
I think its because of how he's saying it.
>>69112480
Yeah I know, but there's so many funnier lines and people latched onto this one for some reason.
>YOU COULDN'T KILL ME IF YOU TRIED!
>best actor in the movie
>only 2 minutes screen time
>>69111507
Plebs hate it. Normies think it's so bad it's good. Patricians started liking it because it was so bad but then realized it transcends cinema and now totally enjoy it unironically.
>>69112652
>best actor
>not tommy wiseau
ahaha what a story mark
>>69110834
Just watched it for the first time a couple weeks ago. Motherfucker was the best actor in it by a mile.
>>69112194
Name some of your favorite films :^)
>>69112435
The scene with him making the sex face while holding his son close stands out more, to me.
>>69113039
Shawshank Redemption, Guardians of The Galaxy, Star Wars (original trilogy of course), Zootopia
you know, quality movies made by professionals
OH MARK
>>69112184
I went to a live screening and the entire audience screamed YOU'RE TEARING MY APART in sync. Room live screenings are truly great experiences.
>>69113255
Oh God.
>>69113300
I'M TIRED
The Disaster Artist audio book is so good. The impressions in it made me laugh like a madman.
>>69113350
OF THIS SHIT
>>69110834

James Franco better not fuck up the movie
>>69112194
I don't think it's fair to compare the room to other "bad" movies and tv shows such as CSI. What typically makes something "bad" is incompetency, laziness, lack of imagination and rushed/sloppy production. The Room is one man's vision, his life's work. He's bearing his soul. It just so happens that this man is fascinatingly weird. His version of "bad" reaches levels of uniqueness, surrealism and comedy that normal "bad" films can't hold a candle to. It's on par with most "good" movies nowadays in terms of its originality, entertainment factor and rewatch value.
>>69112194
I wouldn't call it a waste of time since you can watch it and laugh while learn how not to make a movie
>>69110996
Listen to the audio book, it's fantastic. Sestero narrates it and does the Tommy voice perfectly.
I hope The Masterpiece turns out okay. I kinda like James Franco and for some reason I have trust in him that'll he'll do a good job.
>>69113532
>His version of "bad" reaches levels of uniqueness, surrealism and comedy that normal "bad" films can't hold a candle to.
Have you ever heard of Ed Wood? Bad movies have always contained this elite-tier of exceptional badness
>>69111471
>Peter
>Not Steven
"When is the baby due?" Is the best line in the entire film
>>69113668
Meh. Wiseau is leagues above him in every aspect
Doesnt the Disaster Artist talk about how Tommy got fucked up in a car crash and most probably has some bad brain damage?
I feel kind of bad for laughing at the movie since were pretty much making fun of a retard
>>69114021
Yeah but Tommy also thinks everyone in France and America wanted to pay money for his boipussy, and he totally always said no, so he's not the most reliable of people
>>69113478
IT DOESN'T MATTER
>>69114021
>retard
Dudes a millionaire and apparently he was a great business man. He just seems like a weird eccentric to me. He might have some kind of neurological abnormality but I don't think it's anything substantial.

This is autism you can't fake. This is a genuine lack of understanding of human behavior.

>>69112727
so, how's your sex life?

>What typically makes something "bad" is incompetency, laziness, lack of imagination and rushed/sloppy production.
so, the room?
and it's not exactly original. its just awful.
>>69112719
This, The Room is pure art.
>>69114760
>heh I was only pretending
Wow! Epic cap this for /r/4chan
I found the book to be quite depressing because all the people involved in it ended up having shitty careers
Greg at least got a book out of it, and probably made a lot of money but still, reading him talking about his past and you know its not going anywhere because you have never seen him in any relevant movies
I love the idea of Tommy and Mark 'taking him to jail'
I didn't realize they both had the power to just randomly toss some guy into a cell with absolutely no sort of legal process, let alone do it in the space of 2 minutes before getting back to the rooftop
>>69115310
Mark works for the DEA
>tfw finally fucking sat down and watched this movie a couple months back
I mean, I already knew pretty much everything that happens but get past the meme appeal and there's a film that must be experienced here.A lot of Baneposters have never actually watched The Dark Knight Rises and a lot of HEposters have never even played Donkey Kong 64. There are actual fucking people who quote this movie without ever actually watching it I want to kms
>>69110834
>shoots movie on rooftop
>decides to use green screen
kek
>>69115310
They brought him downstairs and then BOTH came back and said the police where on their way to get him.
So apparently he was just waiting down stairs by himself.
>>69115648
He didn't shoot it on a rooftop
>>69114079
YOURE NOT MY FUCKING MOTHER
>>69115708
Really ? I heard from some anons that the director/main actor did.
>>69113433
It's uncanny how well Greg Sestero does the voices
YOURE TAYRING MEH APART LEESAH
>>69115750
It's a set in a car park, he did however shoot all the footage of San Francisco from a rooftop that he owned. Only Tommy knows why he didn't just use the fucking rooftop in the first place, presumably because he couldn't have built his private bathroom
>>69115423
lolno
>>69115423
>A lot of Baneposters have never actually watched The Dark Knight Rises
That doesn't really matter since the only good part is the one scene.
>a lot of HEposters have never even played Donkey Kong 64.
>>>/v/
>>69115825
haha damn
>Johnny: 'Bud I nevah drink!'
>spends half the movie smashed drunk
>>69115825
>Tommy
dide he write a book about this ?
>>69115963
It's true poetry
>>69115963
kek
>btw I have breast cancer
>not mentioned for the rest of the movie
>tommy wiseau refers to money as "candy"
>>69110834
Anybody ever watch Tommy's short TV-series on Hulu? The Neighbors or whatever?
How is it compared to The Room in the "so bad it's good" department?
>>69114760
>muh imaginary internet points
>>69110834
The random guy at the end that starts talking to the main cast is supposed to be Peter, right?
>>69114760
>I-I'm not really autistic!
>T'was a ruse!
>>69110834
nice iphone, OP
>>69117688
It's filled with stereotypes, women wanting Tommy's nuts & anevil character that is literally Tommy with a blonde wig.
It's bizarre bro
>Here you go keep the change hi doggy
