The original Ghostbusters was a stone-faced comedy that played off the charm of New York.
The new one is filled with zany antics, slapstick, and 'awkward' comedy. New York is hardly the place is was thirty years ago.

hmm let's see? We have a main cast consisting of a nigger, a dyke, a landwhale, and a vapid overrated unfunny cunt. Meanwhile, the whole angle of the movie is "women are just as funny as men!!!1!1!", which isn't necessarily untrue, but form looking at the trailer, it looks like there aren't any jokes. The whole movie is just "look at us proud women who are in this movie that used to be a movie that had all guys see we can do it too!!" As if that's enough to carry a 2 hour fucking movie.
And the worst part is you're not allowed to criticize it or else you're "sexist", "misogynist", "toxic", or any number of other popular SJW buzzwords. That trailer was fucking AWFUL, but all legitimate criticism is being treated as "SEXISMMMM" and invalidated.
My favorite part of the whole situation is that in a movie that is supposed to showcase how talented and funny women are, the funniest character is chris hemsworth playing against type.

It just astounds me that women are either too stubborn or too fucking stupid to understand that it's not a matter of either men or women being "unfunny" or "more funny", it's that NOBODY is funny unless there's a joke.

When women are acting like people in movies, they can be funny. Tell some jokes, react humorously to situations, women can do that! They are not incapable.
