Hmm why can you only empathise with autistic characters? Well I'm on the spectrum and I love:
Perfume: story of a murderer - most obvious autistic character and they are super sensitive to smells
Stop Making Sense - Concert movie but David byrne acts kinda autistic
Maybe the Social Network? He works with computers and doesn't realise that he's being a asshole. And Fincher has crazy attention to detail.
