I really hated this movie. It wasn't scary at all. The characters were really unlikable. Whatever lens they used for the camera work in this movie made it look dull and boring. The scene with the crow biting mom's tit was really funny though.

- cant understand half the movie without subtitles, sometimes they speak clear and sometimes they mumble through their lines, the kids are the worst in this regard
- slow and boring, half the time seems to lack any direction
- idiotic "magic flying witches" ending
-completely untrustworthy narration, cant even tell if its supposed to be real or not
-so impossible to say what the fuck is actually going on
-the scene where the little kid disappears makes no sense
-what the fuck was up with those small kids?
-confusing incoherent religious undertones of the movie, you would think it bashes religion but then shows you some evil demon goats and shit that will fuck you up, so which is it movie
Overall it would have been stronger with no supernatural elements, they drag the entire movie down.
And before anybody says "it was all in their heads", that wont explain for shit the witch taking and killing the kid scene, as nobody was there to see it.

this, you can't have all the atmosphere in the world and have it not pay off. The religious undertones were just edgy as fuck, the character deaths were pointless and predictable. I knew from the start of the fucking movie that the grill would survive and turn into a witch. If they had let one other random person survive, like the dad, and had him just wander back to town defeated and hopeless it would have been less predictable and MORE devastating.
