IMO I feel it's like a tv show because of how episodic it all feels, especially now with Civil War and Stark confirmed for homecoming.
Basically all the MCU movies are filmed in a way where the tone of the movie always feels the same. I can't quite explain it, but you know how the game of Thrones books and show has different shit going on for different characters? It's sort of like if each game of Thrones main got their own episode. It's all building up to one big climax and we have to tune in each episode to get to the climax. So each movie in itself never feels like a whole, complete experience. It just always feels like the movies leave me with "tune in for our next movie".
Now, I'm not saying that's all a bad thing. Some people love this format, but it can be argued that this does cause fatigue for other viewers who still watch the next movie even though they claim to hate the whole movieverse (sounds a lot like GoT and walking dead fans).
So do you kind of see why some people might say the MCU is like a super high budget tv series?
