>someone gets shot
>the bullet is still inside
>better get it out immediately!
is this realistic?
also, I forgot how good ronin is.

I'm not a medical professional, but a shot wound should be treated by removing the bullet, stopping the blood flow, disinfecting the wound, sewing it shut, and bandaging it. Maybe i got the order wrong though.

Lead is toxic, duh
>>69060972
>is this realistic?
Yes. Hemorrhage aside, there's a risk of infection.
doesnt a bullet break in a million pieces on impact?
>>69061516
Depends on the bullet.

They usually leave the bullet in if it's a non vital spot because it heats up so much that is sterilizes the wound
Don't remove the bullet unless you're trained. The bullet is actually helping to slow bleeding and hold bits in place. Removing it can actually make the injury worse.

IIRC this is what a holopoint bullet does and they are banned by the geneva convention or something along those lines
>>69061684
close
the ban is on "explosive" ammunition and it predates geneva afaik
>>69061684
They are only banned in war though. The police here in Sweden use this type of bullet and I'm sure in many other countries.
>>69061582
This seems sketchy
>>69061582
kek
>pull the bullet out!
>leave the knife in!
>push the arrow through!
>>69061516
there are certain types of bullet that are designed to break apart and the shrapnel to "spread out" on impact, causing as much damage possible
>>69061770
explosive bullets were only used in the world wars, and they absolutely fucking destroyed you.
>>69062681
i really thought you shouldn't pull a knife just straight out after getting stabbed. It's not going to fix anything, it might make it worse.
