I think Evil Dead 1 is the only truly good film in the series, but ED2 and AoD are fun enough I guess. I've never particularly cared for them but I can see why people do.
The remake started out very smart by making the chick a drug addict so no one would believe her, that was a good idea. But it quickly fell apart and became one of the dumbest pieces of shit I've ever seen.
ED1 is one of my favorite horror movies of all time, I love everything about it.

ED1 = the best
ED2 is the only decent one. ED1 is just a shitty horror flick that unintentionally ended up being funny due to incompetence and AoD may as well be a Saturday morning cartoon.

ED 2 has the perfect mix of loony shenanigans and dark themes/horror. AoD is too goofy and ED 1 leans towards basic horror flick
