Tyrion was one of the best characters during the first 4 seasons but ever since he offed his dad and left Westeros he's been fucking unbearable to watch.

Both the books and the show have the problem that Ned Stark is one of the best, most interesting characters in the whole thing. Without him the show lost its moral core, we're no longer seeing things filtered through the eyes of a just man. It's just a bunch of bad people stabbing each other.

If you read any swordfighting manuals or look at medieval artwork, you'll always find evidence of sidearm daggers being used by knights and their prevelence in warfare. Not 'dual wielding' in the RPG sense, but always having one in reach of your off-hand is clever.
