Finally got around to seeing this film. What does /tv/ think and what were /tv/'s favorite moments?
>>
>>69015289
Forgot to give my opinion, because autist.
I thought it was amazing.
My favorite moment was at the end when 3 ripped up the photograph of his son. Teared up like a bitch
>>
No air conditioner, so they sweat.
>>
True masterpiece. All actors were great.
>>
The nigger did it
>>
>>69015289
da nigga du sumfin
>>
>>69015875
How could the woman see the nigger do it if she was tripping on quaaludes? and the old man had a peg leg so he couldn't chase down the nigger with a glock

It was brilliant, one of my favourite films. Director did a great job making the room feel claustrophobic and humid for the audience.

It always makes me sad to see threads like this, it's clear that OP doesn't realise /tv/ isn't a place for discussing television and film, it's a place entirely for shitposting about the lowest common denominator tv flicks and capeshit. I genuinely don't think this board is capable of a serious discussion, none of us actually know enough about films or television to make interesting points. Case in point: this thread.
>>
Literal 10/10 flick. It's even better when you realize Henry Fonda was the real killer.
>>
>>69016020
OP here, sorry for being Newfag and not understanding the art of shitposting

Russia doesn't have juries of 12 tho
>>
A faux-cerebral film that makes people think they're smart because it's entirely exposition.
>>
>>69016042
You know, I started suspecting that when he started defending the guy, despite what everyone else was saying. A+ storytelling
>>
>>69015987
>Russia good at anything
>>
>>69016042
That's a terrible fan theory
>>
>He guilty!
>Naw he innocent

And we never rushed to judge a person again. Thanks, movie, you saved us all.

Now let's go lynch the first white male who someone screams "He a racist!" at.
>>
>>69016078
He didn't want an innocent boy to go down for his crime, despite being a murderer, because he had an unknown justification for it. That's why he knew where to find a replica knife, or maybe he keeps a stash of them as his signature weapon. And that's why at the very end he seems so proud with himself while leaving the courts, because he entered the arms of justice and still got away with it. He's basically Keyser Soze.

Best moment:

Let's put it out on the porch and see if the cat licks it up

We watched this version back in high school. For a remake, I'd say it was perfectly cast. Might be prejudiced since I saw this one first, but the style felt more realistic than the original.

well the original wasn't looking for realism but to recreate theater, different directions

I remember there being a pretty neat analysis of Oruns, but I can't find it.

Probably when he takes the knife out and slams it into the table. Shows that he's THAT fucking passionate about it, and it scares the shit out of everyone else.

I'm genuinely curious if /tv/ loving Rome and Sopranos was just another maymay

Wtf, #7 should be /sp/, since he was the one with tickets to the ball game.

yes you do

I thought I'd have to try real hard to pay attention because when it comes to watching movies, at least modern ones, I tend to have ADD. I usually have to be doing something with my hands, I get bored otherwise and lose focus.

However, 12 Angry Men was like a book I couldn't put down. I was surprised by how engrossed I was in the film. Why is it no modern film can do that for me? Isn't this stuff meant to improve and evolve?
>>
>>69022357
Here's how bad it is, as an example.

I've been paused about three minutes into Better Call Saul season 2 episode ten for about twenty minutes because I got distracted by shitposting. 12 Angry Men, though? I didn't pause once.
