Why the fuck is /tv/ full of hipster contrarians?
it really isn't. eventually you'll grow up to realize that different people simply like different things.
It isn't though. In fact outside of the memes I browse /tv/ because - much like /mu/, though at surface value it's a real piece of shit infected with teenagers who are just developing personality but you can have a sensible discussion about film if you try hard enough.
We had a stalker thread the other day that was tremendous, sure you get faggots that say it's pretentious and boring but thankfully people who use words like that are easy to dismiss.

t. hipster contrarians

We drop women who embrace muh feminism. Hearing someone who spends more on shoes than you make in a year lecture you on privilege is fucking disgusting.

/tv/ never loved her. only crypto redditors

We did before she became popular. There was that brief moment in time after Winters Bone and before Hunger Games and Silver Linings Playbook when we liked her.

>acting like he was here in 2010-2011
>tfw like a lot of the movies I see but the ones I dislike I end up disliking a lot
>literal responses I get from other people are calling me a contrarian, a critic and "It's just a movie"
>tfw b-squad of friends loved Avengers 2
>tfw a-squad of friends is scattered across the country still in college but when they show up they actually get my criticisms and don't just dismiss them but actual debate
>tfw b-squad just does the "Turn off your brain!" meme but says movies like Conan are stupid
>tfw love b-squad because they've been my buds for a long time and are always around but goddamn I can't have an actual discussion about anything
