Live action adventure series. Involved some professor guy using his crazy time machine invention to bring figures from bible stories back from the past (and modern day antics ensue).
Can't find it anywhere on IMDB or Wikipedia and it's driving me crazy.
I think there was even a dystopian element where the professor was actually from the future or something. I just remember a scene where "generic police force bad guys" break into his secret basement lab and kidnap him or something.

I rewatch movies too often, and I don't know how to differentiate between movies I've put on as background noise while doing other things like cleaning and actually sitting down watching it completely. I don't have any interest in measuring how often I rewatch movies either.
