I was always fond of Ladyhawke, Willow, Stardust, and Dragonslayer myself. The old Harryhausen flicks like Jason and the Argonauts and Clash of the Titans are also really good.
There are also some pretty fun (if flawed) fantasy mini-series, like The Odyssey (with Armand Assante), The Mists of Avalon, and Merlin (1998).

Destroyer pales in comparison to Barbarian. And I saw Destroyer first. Destroyer felt like an optional sidequest whereas Barbarian was the whole campaign. Destroyer isn't bad on it's own, just when compared to it's predecessor, it's a made for TV movie.

I remember seeing Krull when I was young and loving it so much. Going back and watching it when I was older, it wasn't as fantastic as I remembered. Still good, but no where near as amazing as I remembered.

I gotta wonder. It seems like Hollywood has this idea that a fantasy production must be BIG, it has to have unwieldy scale and the plot must concern the fate of the whole world. And it makes sense from their point of view, since Hollywood is all about making $200M blockbusters that are all expected to make over billion dollars. That closes many doors and discourages many filmmakers. The only alternative is urban fantasy, basically indistinguishable from generic contemporary dramas and done with no money.
The first Conan had a budget of 50M in today's dollars.
