Non linear narratives are a pointless and chaep way of adding interest to a film, it only makes it more needlessly convoluted.
But plebs will mistakingly think a film is deep by using a non-linear narrative, that's why hacks like Nolan and Quentin utilize them so much.

They're also the people who go on /lit/ and say "Kurt Vonnegut and George Orwell are great writers, people here are just contrarian!"
This site is infested with plebs of all flavors

I'm currently writing a "non-linear narrative story" type of movie to be more unique and interesting. It wasn't until now that I'm actually being edgy and ridiculous. Thanks for opening my eyes, guys. Another mediocre story in the trash.

> i believe films are an encryption code i must decipher
no one is in favor of spoonfeeding but i'm against trying to analyze the meaning of life in every frame of some c class arthouse film as well
Recently saw memento, I completely agree what a total joke of a film

The one reason I can't enjoy art house anime

Which Nolan movies do this? Only one I can think of is Memento, and its use was justified and added to the storytelling.
