If I recall correctly, in the description of one of the videos where he builds a house he says it took him 8 months to finish it. This guy plans ahead. Also, he did state that he wants to get up to metallurgy but that he is (literally) building up to it.

It's my second year in uni. The summer of 2015 we went to a prehistoric tell/mogila/mound that had been excavated for the last 10-15 years. The top layers had material from the Ancient era, underneath them there were 1-2 early bronze age layers. Under them - a late eneolithic village, with houses destroyed by fire. Many whole vessels, preserved by the hot temperature. Researched a couple burials from the era, too.
