the exact opposite was the point of that scene. the director and actors admitted they did have more than friendship and easily could have kisses then or that night they just didnt. its why JK started going back ok her writing.

A scene where Harry feels he has put a burden on his friends all these years and its become too great, that Hermione is depressed but she's still ever willing to care about him as he cares about her, her help and friendship. He wants to cheer her up and dance with her as he takes the horcurx off her. Its fun and sweet dance that shows how close they are after all these years and that they have good chemistry. They both want to be intimate also, because they feel isolated and sort of helpless. But they don't because Hermione pulls away, and Harry is left saddened that they still have so much to do and are still in danger and all he could do was cheer her up for a couple minutes. Somehow this is a cuck scene? Fuck off.
