Since its a kids cartoon the Jews could care less about the movie as long as it sold toys and didn't offend the censors too much. Not having invested 200 million shekels into it they weren't all over it meddling to ensure they made a profit. The real problem is that it takes place in the future. DC comics won't make any future movies while they currently have a modern day story line running. It's unfortunate, but it's the truth. They probably think having two separate plotlines in different times of the same universe would confuse people.

Just watched this a few nights ago.
The flashback portion of the story is pretty much the best batman content I have ever seen (What OP posted). The rest was absolute garbage. Like REALLY not great.
That flashback was so fucking good though it made me wish its what the whole movie was. Too bad they had to market their stupid tv show. I hope we eventually do see more "Batman The Animated Series-esque" movies or maybe even a new tv show
