Former Dark Horse employee here.
It's never going to happen. The company can barely keep to a publishing schedule. Maybe a studio will buy them to turn into an IP farm, but I can't imagine anyone being too interested in a Barb Wire remake.

Probably never because Dark Horse doesn't own anything they publish, it's all creator owned or licensed stuff.
Personally I'm fine with that and don't want a DHCU because I'd rather have them focus on making that's good on its own rather than Valu-Pak movies like DC and Marvel.

They turned the Red Hood into a less cartoonish version of The Mask in Gotham.
