No one ever finishes their popcorn at the theater. You have to do what I do: arrive thirty minutes before showtime, there will be at least two showings coming out in this time. Wait for the crowd to filter out and make your way right behind them into the theater they just came out of. It will look like you forgot something if anyone notices you. Just walk up the steps and enter the first aisle you see with a popcorn bucket. Either eat the 50% left behind or take it for a free refill, even if they don't do that 90% of the time they don't care and will do it.
