This is retarded.The ending car ride between Lou and Peggy is proof that Hank's mission of creating a universal language is noble and necessary. Peggy offers good reasons and explanations to defend herself that are justifiable, particularly from her point of view as a woman who is limited in the choices in her own life. Lou can't possibly understand what she's talking about and writes it off as a criminal making up excuses because their viewpoints are incommensurable. There is no secret sexist undertone, unless you're thinking far too literally. Hank's task of creating a universal language would solve every problem ever created in the show. The theme of this season was miscommunication.
