Winter Solider is always getting praised and I finally watched it and I honestly think the first Captain movie is better. That 1940's feel made it feel like it's own original movie. It didn't feel like just another cranked out Marvel movie. Winter solider just felt like another Avengers not shot well capeshit.
I actually wanna know why most people claim Winter Solider is the best capeshit out there. What am I missing?

I would really like the first one without the HYDRA "futuristic" designs, a more gritty war movie could have been better, but its a damn fine movie.
Winter Soldier i enjoyed a lot but i think is overprized
winter soldier could be enjoyed as a standalone action flick, so could iron man and the dark knight which made them appealing to normies
