So i pick up the show again and now ive seen all the episodes just to see if they can pull out the charm of the comic.
Ending of season 3. I was never a TWD hater but I started to feel sick of watching it about half way through season 3. Season 2 was okay, and season 3 had some moments but overall it was just getting boring. When they spent the second half of the season hyping up a big battle and the battle never ended up happening in the finale, I just felt pretty disappointed. I remember turning off the TV and looking at my brother and we both said "that was lame." I haven't watched a second of the show since then, I think that was about 2 years ago.
It's kind of a shame that the show lost its direction. In my opinion the very first episode TWD is one of the best episodes of any television show. Everything about it was perfect, now that I think about it they should have just made it a one-off of that episode. Like a short film or something, just air that episode and never make anything else related to it.

I loved stargate for how many time apophus came back to life, the replicator arc, and the random episode that popped in that showed the girl who made the freaking things OUT OF NOWHERE!, I did feel it was a little rushed to wrap it up with the whole Ori Arc, but it was still good to watch.
Combine that format with TWS and I could see it hitting 10 seasons easy and be enjoyable all the way. and more episodes per season too. I hate having to wait 6 months to find out if its glenn or not who negan has caved in...

Yeah I get that, its about the character development, reaction to the poccerlips and how they change and get along, but I think just a bit more focus on daily life struggles, how they would function as in the ingenious ways they could create thing to live a little easier etc would be a bit more interesting.
Watching them change is interesting, but the day to day is missed. and could be utilised to make it a really interesting show.
