Hans Zimmer did the score for Lion King. Also Gladiator, Mission Impossible 2, etc. He is a God tier composer when he wants to. Don't let his shitty BAAAAANG Nolan film scores cloud your judgement

Michael Giaccino is one of my current favs. Done a lot for pixar/disney but also Mission Impossible and some of the newer Star Trek films among other things. Really appreciate his work

LoTR is a god tier score. BUT I feel like Shores style feels like it's going somewhere then gets lost and out of place and tempo. Listen to the Aviator, or History of Violence. I like it though
