>pic related, obvious best choice for an amazing comic to movie costume transition.
Iron Man. I wish they varied the design more like in the comics, but it's still amazing.
>Iron Man
>Captain America (every movie but The Avengers)
>Spider-Man (ASM2)
>Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman (BvS)
>Deadpool (Deadpool)
>Black Panther (Civil War)
>>68682423
I'll agree on Bats and WW, but I've never liked Cavill's suit. It looks reptilian almost.
my boy bruce wayne
>>68682201
easy.
deadpool.
>no Daredevil
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0CvkiPS5Ks
Greatest fight scene of all times coming through.
>>68682627
Probably this, yeah.
The suit is autistically accurate
>>68682740
What does the fight scene have to do with the costume?
And his costume isn't even that accurate, there's too much black and he doesn't have the DD symbol
>WE WUZ BATMAN
The materials of the costume itself aren't the best(that big plastic belt) but holy shit does Reeve sell it so well. This is Superman right off the page.
Fucking raimi spiderman.
>>68682201
Man, a cape with a popped collar would have been bitching in the movie
>>68682740
>>no Daredevil
And rightfully so
>>68682865
I don't doubt he'll have a cape of some kind in his standalone. At least at one point
>>68682810
>not loving the chain and duct-taped gun combo as part of the costume
>>68682981
be gone. your taste in capekino is awful
>>68682865
Here's hoping he's rocking that look more in his standalone.
>>68682201
>>68682423
>>68682852
>>68682524
I agree.
>>68682627
I don't agree, the guy in the suit is literally too skinny, deadpool is buffed has shit so that suit is quite small, otherwise I would agree its 10/10 accurate aswell.
I have autism.
>>68682201
Anything but Batman or Superman is a wrong answer. Shit movies but amazing costumes
>>68682852
Yeah, there will never been a perfect pairing as that ever again.
>>68683019
Normies are probably so dumb theyd think it was batman
ASM2 had some stuff wrong, but the costume was perfect.
>>68683033
I wouldn't count that as an accurate costume, just a very comic accurate scene. Its not like he continues to wear a duct taped gun later
>>68682740
The eyes are placed wrong. Looks like he has downs. Hilarious.
>>68683211
I heard people talking about Daredevil netflix show as "that blind red batman show", normies are the worst.
>>68683231
True, but for a TV show, it's as good as it's gonna get.
But I think the costume is pretty spot on.
>>68683270
That's because he's blind, so he wants red eyes like the devil.
>>68683345
>>But I think the costume is pretty spot on.
Not really. The comics have this tight red spandex with horns.
The show makes it look all different and stuff. I don't mind it, but its hardly accurate
Ant-Man
Wasp
Deadpool
Doctor Strange
Fantastic Four, I know the movies are shit but as far as their blue jumpsuits go I think they look really fucking nice
Lastly Spider-Man in Civil War looks literally like he jumped out of a Ditko comic. The problem with the other costumes is they kept fucking up the logo and making the lines silver instead of black and it really just stands out too much and looks bad imo.
These are my favorites because they respect the designs they are based off of so much and not only make them make sense logically on a real person but they chose great materials that look gorgeous and somehow not completely silly, just the right amount of silly. I don't like the Black Panther much because making his suit hard instead of ninja like and so over complicated looks weird. Its not bad just not one of my favorites.
>>68682524
I cant stand what they did to Wonder Woman's look. They essentially made the shield and sword a part of the costume, the colors are drained to a ridicuous extent, and little things like leg armor, warrior's skirt, and carrying a sword 24/7 change the tone of the whole thing and make it look too warrior centric and imposing instead of like Wonder Woman.
>>68683214
It looked great, but it wasn't perfect. Spidey without the fat spider on the back isn't Spidey.
>>68682201
cool costume, but the actual claws being replaced with a metallic flourish is kinda dumb.
i guess it serves a purpose for cgi reasons and to prevent PETA/internet loony backlash.
>>68682740
>pigface
fuck off
>>68683119
This thread isn't about amazing costumes, but costume fidelity regarding their origins (cocmics, something you DCfags have never read).
>>68683486
It fits with the changes of his costume being ninja like fabric to a hard suit, makes sense given that.
>>68683418
>Ant-Man
>Wasp
>Deadpool
>Doctor Strange
>Fantastic Four
Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron Cap looks really good, too.
As does Falcon.
>>68683600
Winter Soldier was perfect, although its not a hard design. I think Falcon looks like shit, honestly. He always had a ridiculous costume but they didn't even attempt to make something cool out of it. Rather he's pretty generic.
>>68683741
falcon is pretty dumb in the MCU in general. he's one regular guy who was part of a military program with flight suits.
why not have all of them be avengers
>>68684161
I would guess because they prioritize the importance of characters and their relationships over power levels.
>>68682852
If you combined Reeve's overall design/color with the materials from Routh's suit in SR you'd have a pretty great live action Superman costume.
Batman can get away with rubber muscles because body armor, but Superman doesn't need armor.
>>68683418
>I cant stand what they did to Wonder Woman's look. Her costume lackswonder
>>68684325
How long does she wear that? The dress looks amazing on her, significantly better than her other costumes.
>>68684161
The same could be said of Black Widow and Hawkeye.
At least Falcon has a gimmick that sort of evens the playing field.
>>68684193
Also they're probably aren't that many left since sending troops into heavy fire with a jetpack is kind of bad idea, as evidenced by Sam's wingman taking an RPG to the face.
>>68682423
>>Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman (BvS)
>>68684466
The skirt for a few scenes in 2 episodes (plus she wears another one briefly in the pilot)
The cape occasionally during the entire series
It's her "formal wear", too bad they dropped the skirt later
>>68682740
Daredevil's suit is atrocious.
>>68685033
I seriously think the skirt looks beautiful, idk why because it's so simple. I don't think it would look as good on anyone else, she totally should have worn that for a season.
>>68682201
I still don't get why a black guy would need a costume/alternate identity.
>>68682858
Nah, him and Toby made a great character out of Peter, and spiderman, but it's not really that close to the comix.
How do we fix falcon
>>68685347
What? If this is a joke it isn't funny, and if it's not then I have no clue what you're saying.
>>68685033
She looks so much better than Gal
All capeshit memes aside, Spidey and Bats have had pretty decent costumes the past few decades across the board (animated shows, video games, live action films).
Black Panther's suit has translated very well, but you can't really go wrong with a character that already has a sleek design.
>>68684161
Or why not give the flight suits to all the non-flying members of the Avengers?
>>68687875
I miss Prince, too.
